This spice blend is adapted from Emeril Lagasse’s well known spice mix. (“Essence of Emeril”). Great in Cajun dishes and as a blackening agent on blackened fish.
Makes about 1.5 cups
Ingredients
5 T Sweet Paprika
1/4 c salt
1/4 c granulated garlic
2 T Fresh ground pepper
2 T onion powder
2 T Dried Oregano
2 T Dried Thyme
Instructions
Combine all ingredients. Store in a sealed container.
