Ingredients:
1 English cucumber, quartered lengthwise and sliced thin (1/4″)
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 cup water
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

Combine all ingredients except cucumbers and stir to dissolve sugar and salt. Add cucumbers, stir again, cover and refrigerate for at least two hours, preferably overnight. The longer it sits, the better it is.
